After-school chess for schools in Lleida

Looking for an after-school chess activity for your school? Club Escacs Pardinyes has been teaching chess in Lleida for over 30 years and can help you set it up at your school, adapted to your pupils' age and level.

Weekly after-school club

Chess lessons at your school during the school year, with club coaches, equipment included and content adapted to each stage, from reception to secondary school.

School tournaments

We organise or co-organise tournaments for your pupils or between schools: arbiters, pairings, standings and prizes.

Workshops and simuls

One-off events for culture weeks, Sant Jordi or the end of the year: beginner workshops, giant chess or simultaneous exhibitions with a master.

What chess gives pupils

  • Focus and attention: they learn to stay on one task for a long time.
  • Logical thinking: calculating, planning and foreseeing consequences before acting.
  • Handling mistakes: losing a game is part of learning, and they learn it calmly.
  • Inclusive: children of any age and physical ability play on equal terms.
