How to federate?

Why federate?

Federating or becoming a member allows you to access classes, be covered by sports insurance, and participate in official chess tournaments.

💰 Federation Fees

The cost of federating depends on age and situation. Here is an annual guide according to the Catalan Federation:

  • Over 20 years: 75 €
  • 16 to 20 years: 40 €
  • Over 65 years: 60 €
  • Disabled: 55 €
  • Disabled over 65 years: 47.50 €
  • Under 16 years: 20 €
  • Under 14 years: 15 €
  • Under 10 years: 10 €

You can also choose to become a club member (35 €/year) if you do not want to be federated.

📋 Requirement for classes

To attend classes, you must be federated or become a club member (35 € per year). If you are already federated, you do not need to pay the membership fee.
