The 2026 Festa Major Tournament was no ordinary tournament: it was the perfect setting to say goodbye (for now!) to Fortunato Mba Mba Avomo, president of the «Maestro Enoho Djibloho» Chess Club of Equatorial Guinea, who has worked closely with Club Escacs Pardinyes throughout this season. 🤝

We sincerely thank him for his great contribution, work and dedication over these months. And the best news is that it's not a final goodbye: next season he will be back with us to keep driving this international chess cooperation project together! ✈️♟️
