The traditional Festa Major Tournament of Club Escacs Pardinyes has been celebrated with resounding organizational and participation success. This year's competition was a great festival where chess and the good atmosphere at the club were the clear protagonists.

We are especially proud of the great performance of our local players, who have held the club's name high! 💛🖤 We want to congratulate Àngel Blanch for taking the Best Local and Veteran +50 prize, our young talent Eloi Canales as Best U-14 Local, the tireless Velimir Stankov as Best Veteran +65, and Aleix Ramon Argiles crowned as Best U-16 absolute of the tournament.

As for the general classification, the podium was very tight and was decided by tie-break at 7 points. The absolute victory went to Daniel Badia, followed by Daniel Sastre and Edgar Niubo.

The rest of the winners were Héctor Garcia, Dídac Gómez, Elias Belmonte and Oliver Bencosme in the Elo rating categories, along with Arlet Calabria as Best Female and Oliver Bencosme repeating as Best U-10.
